Given a problem statement - able to critically think / research and then analyze the findings to have a good understanding of the problem itself - before jumping to any solutioning for the stakeholders. Curiosity as a trait is a must - as most of the problems assigned will be ambiguous in nature and will need a good amount of independent thinking.
Once the problem is well understood - being able to translate that understanding into insights which can be then brainstormed / iterated / debated with the other relevant team members like product managers / business or users themselves - to be able to arrive at a possible solution(s) for the problem.
Once broadly convinced / aligned on the solution - being able to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes - to make it easier to visualize the solution.
Work with the technology (especially frontend) team to be able to support them with moving this design from say a design on figma to the actual usable working solution.
Strive to improve the solution based on data driven insights and user research.

At least 2 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer/Researcher working on SaaS products.
Good amount of understanding on the above process mentioned as part of the responsibilities.
Prior experience in UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision and the like.
Being able to do user research comfortably (user interviews and quantitative research) is preferred.
Attention to detail and a good eye for design is preferred.
Pride in creating great user experiences and solving problems in general
Exhibit a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Experience working in cross-functional/cross cultural and interdisciplinary teams (English is a must).
