Tech Lead Backend Developer - Remote

We are seeking a Lead Backend Developer to spearhead the development of robust and scalable backend systems for Fintech and Insurance projects. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on coding, and team mentorship to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and customer needs.

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on solution design, coding, deployment and debugging. 
• To brainstorm solutions and design robust, highly scalable applications that can withstand high traffic with minimum down time together with engineers from other countries. 
• To work closely with product owners, key users, artists and the quality assurance team to ensure deliverables are as per expectation. 
• To assist in service migration planning and the design of failover. 
• Develop ideas for new products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends. 
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members. 
• Troubleshoot applications, conduct performance testing and optimize services to enhance user experience and minimize resource consumption.    
• To build reusable code and libraries for future uses.

• Have 10+ years of experience in backend development, with 02~03+ years in a leadership or technical lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Extensive experience with Apigee or similar API management tools.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively in an international setting.

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to foster collaboration and inspire teams to achieve goals.

• Proven experience in Fintech or Insurance domains.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and CI/CD practices.

• Competitive monthly salary: 40,000,000 ~ 45,000,000 VND net/month (negotiable for exceptional candidates).

• Working hours: 08 hours/day (9:00 - 18:00) on Monday to Friday
