We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with either CA or
CPA qualifications (from Australia) to join our BPO team.
The ideal candidate will bring a robust accounting background, meticulous attention
to detail, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. You will play a crucial role in
steering our accounting operations towards excellence, ensuring compliance, and contributing
to our strategic financial goals.

- Conduct quality review of accounting work, maintaining high standards and providing constructive feedback to staff.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Act as a key support for Client Relationship Managers (‘CRM’), aiding in client inquiries, compliance matters, and various ad hoc duties.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) in alignment with Australian Accounting Standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations, including but not limited to GST, PAYG, and BAS lodgements.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for financial optimization.
- Lead and streamline the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and accruals.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to enhance financial and operational efficiencies, particularly within the business services function.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, legislation, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance and excellence

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CA or CPA qualification from Australia is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in progressive tax accounting roles, demonstrating senior-level responsibilities in tax-focused accounting firms.
- Expertise: Proven experience in SME accounting, tax advisory, and handling Family Groups comprising multiple entities.
- Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of the various tax acts, both State and Federal, as well as other corporate requirements e.g. payroll tax, fringe benefits tax, ASIC and WorkCover
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in major accounting software like MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Keen attention to detail with a focus on high accuracy and quality, independent work ethic with the ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
- Languages: Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
