We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENIOR 2D GAME ANIMATOR to lead our animation team and contribute to the development of visually stunning slot games. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animation principles, a mastery of Spine, and a proven track record of creating high-quality animations for gaming.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of animation principles, a mastery of Spine, and a proven track record of creating high-quality animations for gaming.
Animation Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of animators, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Establish and maintain high animation standards and best practices.
- Oversee the entire animation pipeline, from concept to final implementation.
- Create complex and expressive 2D animations for game characters, including idle animations, walk cycles, run cycles, attack animations, and special ability animations.
- Ensure animations are smooth, fluid, and consistent with the game's art style and theme.
- Optimize animations for performance and memory usage.
- Design and animate engaging and interactive UI elements, such as buttons, sliders, and progress bars.
- Create visually appealing transitions and effects to enhance the user experience.
- Ensure UI animations are smooth, responsive, and consistent with the game's overall aesthetic.
- Design and implement visually striking particle effects, such as explosions, smoke, and sparks.
- Optimize particle effects for performance and ensure they blend seamlessly with the game's overall aesthetic.
- Master Spine's advanced features and workflows to create efficient and high-quality animations.
- Optimize Spine projects for performance and compatibility with different game engines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Spine animation issues.
- Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure animations align with the game's vision.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
- Adapt to changes in the project scope and timeline.
Job Requirement
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Extensive experience as a game animator, with a strong focus on 2D animation.
- Expert proficiency in Spine and other relevant animation tools.
- Deep understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight shifting, and keyframing.
- Ability to create complex and expressive animations.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for gaming and a love for creating visually stunning animations.
- Experience with game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, is a plus.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in game animation is required.
