The SEM Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing search engine marketing campaigns across various platforms. This role requires a data-driven individual with expertise in paid search strategies, keyword research, and campaign management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving online traffic and conversions through effective SEM tactics.
a/ Campaign Development and Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee SEM campaigns across major search engines (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) to drive targeted traffic and achieve key marketing objectives.
- Develop and manage Criteo retargeting campaigns to boost conversions and maximize ROAS.
- Design and write compelling ad copy that aligns with campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences.
b/ Data-Driven Optimization:
- Implement website triggers (event tracking, conversion tracking) to gather in-depth customer behavior insights.
- Utilize tools like Hotjar, Google Tag Manager to collect and analyze data on customer habits (heatmaps, session recordings, funnels).
- Conduct thorough keyword research, identifying high-value terms for optimal ad campaign visibility and ROI.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on critical SEM performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, CPC), using these insights to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
- Employ A/B testing, bid adjustments, and audience targeting to fine-tune campaigns for peak performance.
c/ Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Manage SEM budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to budget constraints.
- Prepare and present regular, insightful reports on SEM campaign performance, highlighting key takeaways and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential opportunities.
d/ Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align SEM strategies with overarching marketing objectives and ensure cohesive campaigns.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in search engine marketing, with a strong understanding of SEM best practices and strategies.
- Proficiency in SEM platforms, including Criteo, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions is a huge plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling ad copy.
- Experience with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb, Google Keywords) and bid management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the laser engraving industry or related technical fields is a plus.
- Proficient in English; Chinese speaking is a plus.
