DigiSource's client is seeking a talented and analytical Junior Game Designer to contribute to the creation of compelling and successful slot games. This role will involve actively participating in the design process, with a significant focus on the mathematical modeling, balancing, and implementation of game mechanics. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of game design principles and excellent mathematical abilities, ready to apply their skills in a fast-paced and creative environment.Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the conceptualization and design of new slot game features, mechanics, and themes.
- Develop and analyze mathematical models and simulations to ensure balanced and engaging gameplay.
- Calculate probabilities, payout structures, and return-to-player (RTP) percentages with accuracy.
- Create and maintain detailed game design documentation, including rulesets, paytables, and feature specifications.
- Collaborate closely with artists, developers, and testers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide constructive feedback on game designs and contribute to iterative improvements.
- Utilize game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) and design tools to prototype and implement game mechanics (where applicable).
- Proficiently use Excel/Google Sheets for in-depth data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in slot game design.
- Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements:
- Passion for games and a strong interest in game design, with a specific focus or understanding of the casino/slot game genre.
- Solid understanding of game mechanics, game loops, and player psychology.
- Excellent mathematical skills, including a strong grasp of probability, statistics, and algebra.
- Strong English communication (both written and verbal) and documentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Familiarity with at least one game engine (Cocos, Unity, Unreal, etc.) or relevant design tools is a plus.
- Proven experience in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and modeling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A portfolio or examples demonstrating your game design thinking and mathematical abilities (if available).
