Job Description

We are a dynamic game startup seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical development and innovation. As the CTO, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company by driving cutting-edge technology solutions and building a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities:  
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide strategic technical leadership and vision for the company's technology roadmap.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative game technologies.
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of new game concepts and features.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of engineers.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
    • Manage team performance and project timelines.
  • Technology Infrastructure:
    • Design, implement, and maintain the company's technology infrastructure.
    • Ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems.
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions.
  • Product Development:
    • Work closely with product managers to define and execute the technical vision for new games.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality game products.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations:
    • Build and maintain relationships with technology partners and vendors.
    • Explore opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations.

Job Requirement

  Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of game development technologies and pipelines.
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages, game engines, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of the gaming industry.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Experience in startup environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning.
  • A strong understanding of mobile game development.
