What You'll Do
Drive Sales:
Build meaningful relationships with customer-facing teams at mid-market through large enterprise-sized companies.
Develop and execute warm outbound strategies to identify and create new opportunities across our target accounts.
Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, including prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, proofs of concept, negotiation, and closing.
Become an expert in our AI-powered GTM solution, leveraging that knowledge to help and advise prospects effectively.
Build Sales Foundations:
Actively contribute to improving our sales process and playbooks.
Develop sales collateral from scratch to support and enhance the sales process.
Serve as the voice of the prospect: Collaborate with product to inform roadmap decisions, marketing to shape positioning and messaging, and post-sales to ensure a smooth handoff and consistent customer journey.

What We're Looking For (Ideal Candidates)
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in a new business quota-carrying closing role.
- Proven experience selling into GTM personas (specifically Sales, Revenue, Marketing, and CX).
- Enterprise selling experience, including selling through internal champions, aligning with executive-level initiatives, and multi-threading across functions and levels to drive alignment and overcome blockers.
- Demonstrated capability to own and exceed a $1M+ quota while closing deals north of six-figures.
- Experience selling to mid-sized companies (100–5,000 employees) – not exclusively tiny startups or large enterprises.
- Experience in Seed-Series B stage closing.
- Experience selling to sales professionals (AEs, SDRs, CSMs, AMs) and executives in that space (CRO, VP of Sales).
Hard Skills:
- Expertise and enthusiasm for outbound prospecting.
- Experience in building sales playbooks or processes.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and meticulous attention to detail.
Miscellaneous:
- Genuine excitement to build the foundations of sales at an early-stage and rapidly growing startup.
- Passion for our company's mission and the evolving category of AI in Sales.
Traits to Avoid:
- Short tenures (e.g., 6 companies in 6 years).
- Cutthroat, individualistic behavior from overly competitive sales cultures.
- Unwillingness to engage in outbound prospecting.
- Experience being too transactional or not suitable for a strategic, consultative selling approach.
- Insufficient experience in closing Mid-Market (MM) and Enterprise (Ent) sales cycles.

Compensation (OTE for Mid-Market AE: $250K OTE (50/50 split) - Enterprise AE: $300K OTE (50/50 split))
Equity: Included in compensation package, benchmarked to 75th percentile for Series A stage companies.
